Maybe she'll return in season 4 as the "main character". People would literally boycott the game if anything permanently bad happened to her. Telltale isn't dumb enough to kill Clem off or get rid of her entirely. My guess is that there will be a point where Clem comes to the rescue for Javi and his family and it will be our job to guide Clem in that situation.

Her being a non-playable character sucks, but she's an independent young woman at this point in her life.Īll of that being said, I do think we will get the chance to control her again, outside of just flashbacks. Javi is no pushover, but you saw how Clem took over situations in episode 1 even. That's just it - Clementine doesn't need our help to survive any longer. From a scared child hiding in her treehouse into the badass that she is today. We've watched her grow up from 8 to 11 to now 13 years old. We've spent the last 2 seasons helping her navigate and sculpting her into the character she is today. Here's my thoughts: By this point, I think most players (myself included) feel a sense of protection over Clementine. While I do hope we get the chance to play as Clem, I do like Javi. Looking at peoples (including my own) choices, the above statement seems like a reasonable statement Which is why I still feel, that this should have been either only Clems story, or only Javiers story, with Clems story continuing in another game, as I feel like most people is still only interested in Clems story, which means that this game cracks right down the middle in terms of how its played, heck Clementine basically IS this game series, and I cant imagine how many people would keep playing if she wasnt in I dont know if telltale predicted this or not, but it feels like they did not, as there is multiple choices involving Clem, where supporting her is actually not the most moral thing to do, but most of us is gonna be supporting her anyways, because we know she is a good person underneath, that benefit of the doubt would never be given to a new character This means that I dont really care about the people the game wants you to care about, as Yeah, and that is the sideeffect of having Clem be in the game without being the playable character, most people, including myself, only play this game for Clems development and story.

In the gripping and emotional final season you define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine’s story ends.

After years on the road facing threats living and dead, Clementine must build a life and become a leader while still watching over A.J, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. I don't want to reveal too much, but it will definitely kind of go hand in hand with the comics a little bit more than season 2 did.The Walking Dead is an episodic adventure game developed by Telltale Games. We'll be checking in on Clementine again, so we'll be seeing her, we'll be seeing where she was at and what's going on with her, which is going to be great, but also I think similar to the Michonne series, that there will probably be some more comic book elements that will be worked in, and in some interesting ways. There's a lot of really cool, really exciting things coming that I don't think people will expect.
#CLEMENTINE SEASON 3 SERIES#
"Season 3 of the Telltale series is really exciting to me, just because the way that the timeline works, season 3 will actually be getting pretty close to where we are in the comics concurrently, like the books that are coming out now are roughly in the same timeframe that season 3 will be in. Just how big a role we don't know yet, but during a sit down with IGN, Robert Kirkman revealed some additional details about the new season, and what it will have in common with the current comics and timeline, along with some expectations for Clementine.
